Diana Perlmutter is entering her third season as the assistant coach of the men's and women's swim team. Perlmutter comes to Adelphi from Towson University, where she was a four-year competitor at the Division I level. Perlmutter was also an ECAC and Colonial Athletic Association Scholar Athlete Award recipient.

Perlmutter is a 1999 graduate of Mount Sinai High School, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Towson University in 2003 with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration. Perlmutter received her Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Sport Management from Adelphi in May 2005.

She is currently working in Adelphi's Campus Recreation office where she is the coordinator of recreation and aquatics. Perlmutter currently makes her home in Oceanside, New York.

Perlmutter is a member of National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) in addition to her position on the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships committee.
