John Regazzi begins his first year as an assistant coach for the Adelphi University swim team. Regazzi was a four-year lettermen on the swimming and diving team at the University of Connecticut. He was a two-time top ten finisher at the Big East Conference Championship and a 1996 New England and ECAC Champion. Regazzi earned a Bachelor of Science in human development and early childhood education. While at UConn, he participated in an assistant teacher program in Hartford, Conn. Regazzi is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Physical Education at Adelphi. A Long Island, N.Y. native, Regazzi is a graduate of Chaminade High School. A six-year veteran of the Jones Beach Lifeguard Corps, he also trains competitively for triathlons. When not at Adelphi, Regazzi also enjoys mountain climbing and surfing. |
