Pleasentville, NY - Continuing their season on the road, the Panthers traveled to Pleasentville, New York to face the Setters of Pace University in a duel meet. Both squads saw victory in the Setters' pool, as the men won 89-59 and the women came out on top 109-82. In both winning efforts, Adelphi had seven individual event wins and one relay victory.

The men's team saw strong performances across the board, however, freshman, Corey McKee, and sophomores Tory Cozzi and Zachary Terzano led the Panthers with their finishes in their respected events. McKee was a double event winner in the 1000 free (10:50.32) and the 100 fly (54.39), while Cozzi picked up wins in both the 100 free (50.30) and the 50 free (23.37). Terzano added with wins in both the 200 free (1:46.67) and the 100 backstroke (56.57). Other event winners were Brad Meaney in the 200 IM (2:11.51) and Daniel Sparnroft in the 500 Free (5:22.99).

The women opened their meet with a 2:08.32 victory in the 200 Medley Relay with legs swam by Nicole Mulligan, Jacquelyn Birkel, Kelly Mark and Kimberly DeVivo. Jennifer Scarnati followed with second place finish in the 1000 Free (12:17.02) and Sarah Bove picked up four points with her 2:14.43 performance in the 200 free. Brittany Ferencik's time of 2:24.89 put her to the wall first in the 200 IM and the Panthers' first individual win. Three events later, Ferencik added another win to her collection with a 1:06.83 performance in the 100 fly. Junior Mark continued her edge over the Setters with a win in the 500 free (5:50.09).

The Panthers will be back in action when they travel to Flushing, New York to take on the Knights of Queens College set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
