At Francis Lewis High School: Ran track and field for four years...as a sophomore, was the City Champion in the 3200m run and 4x800m relay Borough Champions... placed second at the Queens Championships for cross country...was the team captain during his junior and senior years...member of the indoor Borough Champion 4x800m relay his junior year...outdoor Borough champion 4x800m relay...was a part of the Queens Borough champions for each season all three years...received the Most Improved Award his sophomore year in both cross country and indoor track...was recipient of the Coaches Award for indoor his junior year...earned a Gold Medal for Leadership in Physical Education.
