At Shoreham Wading River High School: Three-year member of the varsity baseball team and two-year member of the varsity football team, also played one season of varsity basketball...two-time all-county selection and team MVP...team pitcher of the year as a freshman and team captain as a senior...participated in Suffolk county execptional seniors game...second-team all-division and academic all-league football selection as a senior.
