Boyd is entering her sixth year as the Men's Basketball Team Assistant.

Kera is the daughter of Kenneth and Renee Boyd and has three brothers and sisters, Christina, Kendall, and Monique.

A native of Jamaica, New York, Boyd attended Jamaica High School, where she was named girls basketball MVP her senior year . She earned her degree in Sports Management from Adelphi in 2004.

Kera currently serves as the Equipment Room Manager at Adelphi University.
