March 8, 2007 South Easton, Mass. - The 2006-07 NCAA Division II Northeast Regional will be broadcast live on NE-10.TV through Pennatlantic. Through a partnership between the Northeast-10, the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference and the East Coast Conference, NE-10.TV allows you to watch LIVE game broadcast of the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional on your computer for free. The Northeast-10 regular season and tournament champion, the Falcons of Bentley College are the top seed for the 2006-07 NCAA Division II Northeast Regional. Bentley, an automatic qualifier for winning the Northeast-10 Tournament Championship will host the eight-team regional. Also receiving automatic qualifying bids were the conference champions of the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC), Caldwell College and Adelphi University of the East Coast Conference (ECC). Making the tournament via at-large bids were Bryant University, The College of Saint Rose, and Pace University of the Northeast-10, The University of Bridgeport of the ECC and Philadelphia University of the CACC. Quarterfinal games include, #1 Bentley versus #8 Caldwell, #2 Saint Rose versus #7 Pace, #3 Bryant versus #6 Adelphi and #4 Bridgeport versus #5 Philadelphia. The quarterfinals begin 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 10 with games remaining slated for 2:30 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.. The semifinal round will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 11 with the winner of Saint Rose/Pace matching up with the winner of Bryant/Adelphi, followed by the winner of Bentley/Caldwell versus the winner of Bridgeport/Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. The championship game is slated for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13 with the winner advancing to the Elite Eight in Springfield, Mass. Sponsoring 23 championship sports and 15 full-time members, the Northeast-10 is the second largest NCAA Division II athletic conference in the nation and sponsors the most championships of any Division II conference. |
