Brianne MacArthur begins her second season as a volunteer assistant coach. She graduated from Adelphi University in May 2003 with a BS in Health and Physical Education in May 2003.

A two-sport athlete at Adelphi, MacArthur lettered in both volleyball and basketball over her four year career. In basketball, she averaged 18.1 minutes per game, starting in 20 of 29 games as a senior. In volleyball, she finished her Adelphi career as the school's all-time assists leader and also holds records in assists in a single match and season. She was named the NYCAC volleyball Scholar Athlete of the Year and to the NYCAC All-Academic Team.

A graduate of MacArthur High School, she was a two-time all-county and all-conference selection in basketball.

MacArthur is employed by the Connectquot School District, teaching Health and Physical Education. She also serves as the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball coach.

She currently resides in Wantagh, N.Y. and is pursuing a masters degree in Health Education at Adelphi University.
