Garden City, N.Y. - Freshman goalkeeper Caitlin Fitzpatrick (Port Washington, N.Y.) was named the ECC Women's Lacrosse Co-Rookie of the Week as announced Monday afternoon. She share this week's honors with Rebecca LaFlare of Molloy College.

Fitzpatrick had a career-high 21 saves in her first collegiate start as Adelphi defeated Mercyhurst College, 14-9, on Sunday. This is the second win of the season for Fitzpatrick who collected eight saves in the second half, to help the Panthers to a 12-11 victory over Gannon University.

Adelphi returns to action this Saturday, April 7, as they travel to Philadelphia University for a 12 noon contest.
