Box Score

New Hyde Park, NY - Celebrating Senior Night in winning fashion, the Panthers beat Philadelphia University 1-0 in a non-conference match-up. Adelphi women's soccer ended their 2007 season with an 11-5, 6-3 East Coast Conference record, while the Rams drop to 12-6 overall, 10-1 in the CACC.

The game opened up with both teams battling for offensive control, however it would be the Panther's Caitlin Morrison (Beacon, NY) that would strike first, and would prove to be the game's only goal. 25-minutes into the first half, Adelphi set up for a corner kick, which was taken by Brianne McDonnell (Commack, N.Y). McDonnell's kick was right found Morrison's, who sent a shot to the right side of the net, past goalkeeper Sara Hall.

Philadelphia would counter with six shots on goal throughout the match, but Christine Conway (Rockville Centre, NY) would save all of them in her last regular season win for Adelphi.
